In this two-part service series based on the work of pastoral counselor Harville Hendrix, we will explore why it is that we are attracted to certain people and not others and how it is that, sadly, our attempts to form intimate partnerships are so often painful struggles. This week, the focus is on our attraction to others and why/where it can go off-track for individuals and congregations.

Sexual Ethics

"Sexual Ethics" – is that a really bad band name? Seriously, how do those words fit together? We will explore the idea of sexual ethics in church with an assist from the work of the Reverend Doctor Debra Haffner. The Reverend Haffner is a UU minister and the founder and director of the Religious Institute, a multifaith organization dedicated to advocating for sexual health, education, and justice in faith communities and society.
