Summer Religious Eeducation is right around the corner!  Our summer program will run from June 24th to August 26th.  Each Sunday will be packed with fun so your children won’t want to miss anything! The younger two groups (age 4 – upcoming 2nd graders and upcoming 3rd – 5th graders) will be learning about the 7 UU Principles.  The curriculum is fun and interactive.  The middle-schoolers will have a special curriculum based on the 7th principle.  This will include some field trips. (Our teens are not meeting on Sunday mornings this summer—they’ll be getting together for some social outings.)

In order to make sure we have everything we need, we need parents to register their children as soon as possible.  Then, we need parents to decide which Sunday they want to help teach a class.  We ask each parent to teach at least one class for each child they register in the Summer program. All of this can be done in person after services in the Social Hall (look for the rainbow) or on-line here.

I know you’re asking yourself:  “Do I have to be a parent to teach a class?”  The answer is “of course not!”  We would not deprive you of this experience!  You’ll have as much fun as the kids!  If you want to teach a class (or two), just let Brian or Sally Daniel know.  You’ll be glad you did!  Not only will you get to be with some amazing kids, but you’ll get to teach with another wonderful adult.  And, you’ll have everything you need to be successful!  So, don’t wait!

We will have a short two hour training for Summer teachers on Saturday June 16th at 10 am. We will have copies of the classroom materials and a schedule for the summer for all teachers then! Childcare will also be provided.
